Sanibel fishing

The summer of poor water quality and bad hurricanes appears to be finally slipping to fall. I have fished the sweet spots in Pine Island sound for the last month with quite a bit of success. A nice school of oversize Redfish showed up for a couple of weeks. The school was like a rock star that showed up at the mall. Everyone was excited to catch a few real nice fish. The water is clearing up nicely but is still a little tannin stained. October is booking up and the holidays are just around the corner. On another note: The State has closed the Redfish and Snook until May to give them a chance to recover. We will keep Snapper a few Trout and I will be looking for my favorite..Pompano. Call to book your trip today!.
