Sanibel Hurricane report

The Fishing report will resume on the next post as hurricane irma has taken over the headlines. The Islands of Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Island were spared a major blow Sunday September 10th. The eye shifted just to the east of us and we got the winds, but missed the intense part and alot of the rain. Trees went down and power was out for 70% - 90% of us. The islands are being powered up and cleaned up now and will be open in days. My house in Cape Coral came out great, only lost the pool screen and gave me some yard work , I spent 3 days preparing for the storm, and only one day on clean up. Last year we replaced my shingle roof with a metal roof, nice to know that it was ready to handle a big wind. If you would like to go fishing i have September 25th-28th open. The redfish are in now. Thanks to all, Captain Dave
